Materials/Techniques: I used cotton fabric, front, back, and in the fused design. In trying to give him a little more character, I hand embroidered around and through the total design. The quilting is done in two phases, on the front and the back. When I look at him, he just looks like he is ready to speak his first word.

Artist Statement: I found this little Parrot on a free stained glass page of which the designer has given me permission to use.
