Materials/Techniques: All cotton fabrics except for the polyester batting in the center.

Artist Statement: I watched a segment of Quilting Arts TV when they featured quilter, Jean Wells. She demonstrated how to cut and sew together strips of fabric to make a landscape, so that is what I did with this. Then I fused and hand-quilted the tree trunk and each one of the leaves to the front. The back is also hand quilted in a very simple pattern.
