Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics and threads, poly/cotton batting, machine pieced and quilted.

Artist Statement: Many times I choose fabrics for the body of a quilt based on the colors in the fabric I will be using as the outer border. For this one I chose an assortment of eight bright colors to make the whirligigs, then pieced the outer border using more of the same fabrics.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $230 for the AAQI.
