Artist Statement: I made this Caboose to honor my daughter-in-law's friend Ellie's father who is an avid trolley and train enthusiast and has an elaborate town and countryside display which he constructed.

Dedication: Dedicated to Donald Schalk, Sr., who after being a history and English teacher of junior high students, felt the calling to become a minister. He served as a United Methodist minister for 42 years. He has been married to his loyal wife, Della-Ann, for 53 years and they have 3 children, 4 grand-children and 5 great-grandchildren.
