Artist Statement: The rising sun brings a new day, with new hope, peace, rest, renewed patience and a chance for change.

Dedication: To my mother Mary Falkinburg - when her husband of 66 years (my father) died, she quickly slipped into an Alzheimer’s type dementia.

This quilt has a Hanging Ring.
