Artist Statement: I made this for the River Country Quilters quilt challenge for 2011.

Dedication: In memory of Bill Harmon (April 5, 1943 - May 25, 2011) who lost his 2 1/2 year battle with Alzheimer’s. This quilt is based on Bill Harmon's watercolor of Ocracoke Island in North Carolina. A copy of the watercolor is attached to the quilt.

This quilt has a Hanging Ring.

This quilt earned $35 for the AAQI.
