Materials/Techniques: This quilt is all cotton. It is machine pieced and hand quilted and made of half square triangles, a quilter's tool for expressing movement in a quilt.

Artist Statement: The black of night with bright confetti dots -- it makes me think of a carnival at night, or Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Paired up with bright green, yellow and purple -- it all spells happy and carefree to me. That's what this little quilt is meant to convey.

Dedication: I dedicate this quilt to the caregivers. Dementia is painful for everyone.
