Designer: Original designMaterials/Techniques: Machine pieced and quilted with a fused binding. I used bleach to discharge images of X and O to represent hugs and kisses.
Artist Statement: I used bleach discharge on self-hand-dyed fabric to make the hugs and kisses (XOXO) represent my parents fading away as Alzheimer's took away their ability to give us, their kids, hugs and kisses.
