Materials/Techniques: The theme being "liquid" is why I chose to do a jellyfish design in the water. I used cotton fabric on which I embroidered the main design. The lower part is hand painted. There are two "hidden" faces in the main design - thus the name of the quilt. I hand quilted around the areas to make them "pop" at the viewer. This is my first attempt at making a quilt of any size, so I hope you will enjoy.

Artist Statement: I designed and made this quilt in remembrance of my mom who passed in 1989 from this horrible disease. I want to do as much as I can to help fund the research that is needed now and in the future.
