Materials/Techniques: The crazy quilt block is made of various fabrics - silk, cottons, satins, etc. The stitching is done in silk yarn and silk buttonhole thread and perle cotton primarily.

Artist Statement: This particular quilt was created as a stitch sampler. I tried out variations of fly stitch, Portuguese border stitch, buttonhole stitch and feather stitch.

Dedication: Dedicated to Olive Lowden and the journey through Alzheimer’s she is making and to Susan Lowden, who guides her steps.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
