Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics and batting. I experimented with thread painting on the butterflies’ wings; this was all done with free motion techniques.

Artist Statement: This quilt fulfills my year of making Alzheimer’s quilts and has been a great experience for me and I hope it has contributed greatly to the cause.
