Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, batting and thread, flowers are raw edge appliqué with button centers with one tiny dragonfly stopping to admire the flowers. Free motion machine quilting.

Artist Statement: As usual with quilting and life this did not turn out to be what I had planned, but that is okay. We have to be flexible and allow for changes in our plans. We don't know what is coming in the next day let alone in the years to come.
