Materials/Techniques: The gingerbread man was inspired by a cookie cutter. The fabric is 100% cotton and the body is appliquéd. Machine embroidery with Superior Thread completes the gingerbread man. Along with the cheerful binding is piping.

Artist Statement: A special Alzheimer’s caretaker and I enjoyed a gingerbread man, coffee, music and beautiful Christmas trees at the Festival of Trees. It was such an honor to participate with a caretaker refreshing herself for her husband and family.

Dedication: Gingerbread man is dedicated to caregivers for their renewing themselves for their patients, family and friends.
