Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics, batik fabrics, gold thread & cording.

Artist Statement: I wanted to create a peaceful scene. I used gold thread to give it a little glow. This quilt was made as part of the 2011 Challenge for Courthouse Quilters Guild of Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Recently, a few of our members have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s so we thought it was important to help fund research.
