Artist Statement: The dictionary states that respite means pause, or suspension in activity. Alzheimer caregivers need a quiet peaceful place to recharge.

Dedication: This quilt is dedicated to Forrest Tyson, retired Ohio State soccer coach, teacher, educator, fisherman, father, grandfather and husband of Ellie.
