Materials/Techniques: Painted linen, beaded, free motion quilting. The fabric used in the trees was done with soy-wax as a resist with textile paints then appliquéd.

Artist Statement: The first snowfall of the year magically changes everything. The leaves become jewel-like and the snow glistens and reflects the early morning sky light.
