Designer: Original designMaterials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics; silk, cotton, and rayon threads; embellishments such as sequins, beads, ribbon, found objects with machine quilting and surface hand embroidery.
Artist Statement: Colors can be an inspiration to everyone and I like the bright colors as seen with this piece. In addition, I like shiny things and creating. This project is so do-able and I wanted to help. This was fun and a great way to stretch myself creatively!
Dedication: I was touched by Lisa Genova's book, "Still Alice.” There are so many suffering from this disease or losing family/friends from this terrible disease. Let's help those suffering with Alzheimer's to follow whatever path they have chosen each day.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
