Materials/Techniques: I used upholstery fabric, twill tape and a solid green background fabric. To carry off the heavier texture of the upholstery fabric, I used a sheet of Pellon in lieu of batting.

Artist Statement: I am the lucky recipient of some upholstery fabric donated by Michael McNamara of Interior Effects in Evanston, IL. One of the pieces had this tiger and when I saw it I immediately saw this quilt in my head! Well, not this exact quilt, but you get my meaning . . .
