Materials/Techniques: Shimmer is a tropical scene made of many sheer fabrics which are fused and sewn to a sparkly silver metallic fabric. Several different metallic threads are used in the free motion quilting. The quilt truly shimmers in the light.

Artist Statement: There is always something new to learn in quilting and I will never cover all the areas that fascinate me. The use of sheer fabrics and metallic threads is now a source of tremendous fun and some exasperation for me.
