Artist Statement: The 2011 challenge for the Cotton Boll Quilt Guild of Auburn-Opelika, Alabama was to make at least 25 quilts for AAQI in honor of their 25th anniversary. This was a spontaneous attempt to depict a sunny day in the Midwest.
