Materials/Techniques: Pinwheel blocks surrounded by black, sashed with cornerstones, fusible appliqué. The print of the fabric emphasizes the colors.

Artist Statement: Several times I have used appliquéd pieces on top of a pieced block, making a new look from a simple block. It is always a thrill to see the new design that is revealed.
