Materials/Techniques: Pitt pens with drawn flower and leaves create a graffiti effect in this small piece. Its darkness represents the places to go when the going gets tough. It's part of the process.

Artist Statement: Another in my doodle series of quilts. As a full-time caregiver, I found doodling to be my temporary escape with markers and pens creating my own personal freedom.

Dedication: This quilt is dedicated to my dad.
