Materials/Techniques: Cotton, pieced and paper pieced, free motion quilted. The What Knots quilt group of Bellingham, WA made the 4 small quilt squares and I made the setting and did the quilting.

Artist Statement: I helped care for my mother who died Sept. 2, 2011 from cerebral vascular accidents, but also had end stage Alzheimer’s, so I made this quilt to help raise funds to find a cure/treatment for Alzheimer’s.
