Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric embroidered with rayon machine embroidery thread, followed up with meandering quilting stitches. I am new to meandering, so the stitches are a bit inconsistent in size and stitch length.

Artist Statement: I learned of AAQI while watching an episode of Sewing with Nancy. I do not have any family afflicted with Alzheimer's, but feel that this is a cause to which I can contribute. I don't know if I had previously read the phrase embroidered on this quilt, or if it just came to my mind. Either way, it persisted until I digitized it for a donation quilt. Since this is my design to share, if anyone that does machine embroidery would like this design to use on a quilt to donate, please contact me and I will send it to you.
