Artist Statement: I enjoy doing crossword puzzles and that led me to the name of this quilt which is inspired by a photo of my friend's dog. The background reminded me of Op Art. My dog's name is Eddie. OPED is very often the answer to the clue “4 letter word for a section of a newspaper ".
