Materials/Techniques: Cotton and polyester fabrics, hand painted sky, Tsukineko inks embellishing the flower, machine appliquéd and quilted, piped, signed, traditionally bound.

Artist Statement: Easter is the most joyous day on the Christian calendar. This quilt depicts a sunrise on Easter morning with the traditional Easter lily.

Dedication: In memory of Reverend Theodore Krause.
