Materials/Techniques: Commercial cotton fabrics, paper-pieced, with various threads used for machine quilting.

Artist Statement: This quilt was made for my small sewing group's October challenge. I love the way that the bright leaves fill the blue sky with so many beautiful colors in October, and I think that the traditional maple leaf block conveys this perfectly.
