Materials/Techniques: Using the state flowers fabric for Wyoming designed by Suzan Elllis, I overlaid it with wedding rings fusible appliqué, then stitched with gold metallic thread. Machine pieced and quilted.

Artist Statement: After a 7 year battle with Alzheimer’s, my husband went off on his last climb. Mountains were his first love and I overlaid them with the wedding rings to honor our 52 years together.
