Materials/Techniques: My husband brought me this little flower from the garden to draw. I did and put it on white cloth (PFD) with a fine brown sharpie. I colored it with water and Neocolor crayons. I free motion quilted it because I love to free motion.

Artist Statement: I have had this little blue vase for over 50 years. It has a chip in the top but no matter it always has a small flower or a leaf. Sometimes we only have one flower but it can bring joy. I hope it does for someone else.
