Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, a red and pink print and a dusty looking piece that reminded me of old quilts. All of the squares, except the center patches are 1/4 inch. Quilted with clear thread.

Artist Statement: When I selected this old block I noted that among several things it was called, one of them was Coverlet. Since in the past, coverlets were an item in my mother's family I decided on this was to be the name of the quilt.
