Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics and quilted with clear thread. The center squares are from pieces of fabric with colors blending into another one. Some appear to be the same, but others change slightly, much like the colors in the plaid outer border.

Artist Statement: This is an example of using a print to pick colors for the rest of the quilt. When the printed plaid like fabric was selected it was a no-brainer to pick the remaining colors and use them in a traditional design.
