Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics, intense colors of purple, orange, green, red, turquoise shaped in spinning pinwheels. Cotton batting, machine quilted, binding applied by machine then hand stitched.

Artist Statement: The tessellating pinwheels reminded me of the repeated sentences/phrases that are common to Alzheimer's suffers and their caretakers. The polka dots reminded me of the 'spots' of memory loss.
