Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, thread, machine quilting, watercolor paints.

Artist Statement: I started this quilt by painting the scene on white fabric using watercolor paints. I then used some of the embroidery stitches on my sewing machine to do the thread painting. The leaves in the tree and the waves on the lake are examples. Once the stitching was finished, I enhanced the image with more watercolor paints. This was a fun quilt to do!
