Materials/Techniques: Fringed metallic fabric heart, fused onto background. Made 3-D mini-hearts from red felted wool, edged with hand blanket-stitched metallic thread, then applied to background with hand-embroidered French knots. Quilt edged with red-piping and envelope finished, machine quilted.

Artist Statement: Took the Quilt-a-Month challenge for Valentines quilts as I enjoy this theme.
