Materials/Techniques: Cotton and poly/cotton fabrics, poly/cotton thread, batting.

Artist Statement: I used pieces of vintage sheets to make this quilt. I used a liberated approach to piecing - putting some things together with a loose plan, letting the composition speak to me, cutting it up and putting it back together again, until I got something pleasing. This quilt looks like sunrays and reminds me of the luxurious smell of sheets that have been dried on a clothesline.
