Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, cotton/poly thread, batting.

Artist Statement: I found instructions for this technique online and had to try it. I used a soft dress-weight cotton and inserted curvy bias "reeds" randomly into the background until I found a pleasing arrangement. I quilted it with various white and pink threads in wavy vertical and horizontal lines. The background, reeds, backing and binding are all made from the same fabric.
