Materials/Techniques: Painted flowers framed in pieced quilt, cottons.

Artist Statement: I asked my good friend Sandy to paint a few flowers for me that I could quilt... she painted this set of three. Instead of placing them in one wall hanging I decided to made three priority quilts. My mother, Cecile, is in end stages Alzheimer's and loved her flower garden so much; I thought these would be a wonderful tribute to her. It has been so long since she could get outside to enjoy her garden.
