Artist Statement: I was impressed with fabric artist Deborah Boschert's abstract interpretation of life. In the past I had used watercolors and oils to make realistic paintings but had never tried to do anything in abstract. It was a way to push myself to try something new to help my growth as an artist and to keep my mind active.
