Materials/Techniques: I hand-quilted the chocolate fabric, then attached the quotations, rickrack, and buttons by hand. The quotations were printed on an ink-jet printer and then heat-transferred.

Artist Statement: This is such a deliciously decadent fabric! I decided it deserved some indulgent philosophy and added the chocolate lovers' rationalizations. I am grateful to the women who gave me the fabric and buttons: Deborah Cassety of Tennessee, Elizabeth Minnis of Oklahoma, Sylvia Rosenshine of Virginia, and Odessa Via of Virginia.
