Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics, silhouettes of players appliquéd to a fabric printed with the names of football teams.

Artist Statement: I was inspired by the football fabric given to me by Judia Hilton of Mississippi. I am grateful, too, to Carol Vance of Indiana and Artha Keeter of North Carolina for donating other fabrics used in making this AAQI quilt.

Dedication: In memory of Lloyd David Sykes, husband of Jo Sykes. He suffered from Alzheimer's before his death in 2002 and is greatly missed.
