Width: 8" Length: 9.25"
Materials/Techniques: The counties of Ohio, cut from different fabrics, were machine-appliquéd, so that the quilting follows the county lines. This quilt includes cotton fabrics kindly donated by Kathryn Laroche of Ohio and Tammy Smith of Indiana.
Artist Statement: I was feeling kindly toward Ohio, where I lived for a couple of delightful years, and wanted to see how an appliquéd patchwork would work out.

Dedication: In honor of Annie Fern Wallick, a victim of Alzheimer's disease and grandmother of Amber House, who misses her very much.
This quilt has a Hanging Ring.
