Materials/Techniques: Quilt block is hand sewn and hand quilted. Flower stems and leaves are appliquéd. Flowers are made following Joan Shay's "Appli-bond" technique.

Artist Statement: Love flowers, love appliqué and a good friend suggested Forget-me-nots. What a good idea!

Dedication: I made this quilt in memory of my mother who first taught me to quilt. She loved gardening and flowers of all kinds and she shared her enthusiasm with everyone who knew her. Late in life she developed Alzheimer's so for all those reasons, this quilt is for her.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
