8278 – Miniature String Quilt I

Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, batting and thread, machine pieced on paper, using scraps from another project, then hand quilted.

Artist Statement: I wanted to contribute to this project again, but making anything smaller than a bed quilt is a challenge for me. I thought traditional string piecing would be possible and am pleased at how this piece turned out.
