Materials/Techniques: I used 100% cotton fabrics, raw edge appliqué and free motion quilting with silk thread.

Artist Statement: My husband has Alzheimer's disease. I am a full time caretaker and making these AAQI quilts is another way to help. My donations are symbolic of "lighting one candle" to the many AAQI quilt donations; therefore the name of my quilt is "Let There Be Light"
