Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric and batting, machine pieced in a traditional style, then cut into two pieces, a strip inserted and re-stitched at an angle, then hand quilted.

Artist Statement: A mind works in an orderly way and holds information organized like a neatly constructed quilt. A mind that has become confused may be like this off-kilter quilt, tilting and settling at a new angle.

Dedication: Dedicated to all the people who have dementia.
