Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric; firm interfacing used in place of batting. Raw edge hand appliqué with hand quilted concentric lines spaced 1/4" apart surrounding the kitty; colored pencils.

Artist Statement: "A Special Kitty" represents all the pets who give us love and companionship during our lives.
