Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric and batting, cotton and iridescent threads, polyester trims, button, glass beads. Hand appliqué by Arlyne Zeiger, machine piecing, machine quilting, hand embellished.

Artist Statement: This Sunbonnet Sue block was one of a handful I inherited from my friend Arlyne Zeiger. She hand sewed them in the last couple of years of her life. While she did not suffer from Alzheimer's, I know she would be honored to be able to contribute to the cause in this way.
