Materials/Techniques: Overall black and white print fabric, with varied colored one inch stars surrounded by a darker 1/4" border of same color as the stars. Quilted with clear thread.

Artist Statement: Naming this quilt was easy for a change, because my intent was to make the colored star blocks appear to be embedded in the black and white print, with "paths" between the corners of the star blocks, so the name Embedded Stars was a given.
