Materials/Techniques: Screen printed decorator fabric, fabric collage, fusible web, appliqué, machine quilted, silk backing, hand stitched silk binding, beading cotton and invisible thread and cotton batting.

Artist Statement: This is a quilt to enjoy because of the bird image. The foliage makes a nest around the bird protecting and covering it with natural camouflage. I can almost hear the bird's delicate night song. How I wish that we could cover our Alzheimer’s people with similar protection and help them sing as well.
