Piedmont, CA USA
Width: 7.5" Length: 11.5"
Materials/Techniques: Silk kimono fabric, collaged, silk backing, machine stitched, assorted beads in flowers, cotton and monofilament thread, light batting and silk binding sewn by hand.
Artist Statement: This quilt uses the scraps from a bigger quilt made with larger motif and scale. When these small flowers grouped together I was afraid I could not make the quilt as I had very few scraps and had to use the red. However, somehow it seems to work and in spite of the red, the quilt actually creates a relaxed feeling.

Dedication: I made this quilt to show my support for the AAQI.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
